8. Private Recovery System

Xym Network offers two recovery paths designed to balance privacy, simplicity, and resilience.

• Default Recovery: Uses a PIN and verified Gmail and phone number. After both channels are confirmed, recovery executes following a 24–48-hour time-lock, giving the user or old device time to veto unauthorized requests.

• Advanced Recovery: Restores the entire sandbox using a master seed phrase. The seed reconstructs all keys and configurations without external dependencies.

Both methods are non-custodial. No external party, including Xym Network, can restore access without user authorization.
